Help me on these images

I was down in Daley Plaza last night taking some pictures (so was some other guy - one of you?) and found a perspective that I kind of liked. However, now that I have the images here on my computer, I'm having trouble editing either of them into a picture that I really like. Neither are all that great, but I think there's something salvageable in there.

1st re-cropping to a tighter 8x10, some changes in contrast and color:



2nd - added some texture for interest:


3rd - played with distortion for some fun (w/ pic #2 above)

Those are pretty friggin' cool shots just the way they are, I'm kinda jealous that it wasn't me who shot them. I didn't do much, to me they do just fine on their own, with just a little adjustment in exposure and whatnot...
