Default Canon 85 1.8

This is a shot of my wife a couple weeks ago at a wedding.

50D + 85 F/1.8 taken wide open at 1.8, 1/100, ISO-500, no flash. This is almost SOOC. Only thing I did was bump contrast by 5, saturation by 2, and 40% USM in CS4.

Yeah, but the overhead light was less red, and more amber.

Here's another from the same wedding. I still have more to go through, but most of them are with the 50 1.4, and not the 85. THis one is also wide open at F/1.8, 1/125, ISO-800.

Hope you don't mind me adding a few.

As head said its a great portrait lens.

Can create a great shallow DOF

Easily one of the sharpest lens I own.

All of my shots from this lens are in one set on my flickr if you want to see more.
