Does sigma only have the 1 stop IS on the 70-200? Kato's 150-500 seemed to have better than that when he let me try it. Shots at 1/250 (500mm) came out decent and I am not that great at handholding.

The Sigma 150-500mm OS has up to 4-stop stabilization. Not many lenses can boast that. It takes a while to get used to the big lens, too, so handheld shots get much better with time and practice.

I would love to have VR on my 80-200. i dont have problems hand holding, but i do notice motion blur in them alot. Still love the optics of the lens though.


I got to use a 70-200 once at a wedding and it was an absolute dream to shoot with. Nice addition
