I've found that taking pictures of jewelry or really any item for stock photography is difficult to get that doesn't look like every other shot out there for the same item. Thought it would be fun to get different angles of a single subject and post here.
i'll start out with bead jewelry/bracelets with this picture below. Hope this isn't too stupid to start. Let me know :O)

I like the composition and the beads on the black. Looks like you got some camera shake in it though. 1/40 at 75mm is going to give you trouble if its handheld. Try boosting your SS or seting up a tripod.
IMO you can start whatever topic you like. I dont have any jewlery to photograph but Ill try to dig something up to add. |

I agree with Silvrr, camera shake got ya. and he is also right, feel free to start a topic/theme on anything you like...if you arent sure, pm me. but 99 times out of 100, its fine.
I get my macro tomorrow!! I will have the GF bring some jewelry over and I'll add to this thread. it will give me good practice at macro |
